The “Population Health” module shall provide population-oriented tools for prevention and intervention in the primary care setting like geomapping. Unlike the statistics module, it includes also data sources from outside the MedUx-database that are available as OpenData, e.g. regional demographics.

• Are there geographical cumulations of certain diagnoses (e.g. “Asthma”), that may point to external factors as a cause? (e.g. bad housing conditions, traffic). This information can then facilitate communal advocacy and public health measures.
